One of the many challenges created by a move to remote learning is building effective relationships between teacher and student. Effective relationships lead to great student engagement, motivation and progress. In this webinar, we will explore how relationships may be created and strengthened; what obstacles to building these relationships there are; and how departments and schools can be proactive in the quest for strong teacher-student relationships.

Dan McHugh is currently Deputy Headteacher for Years 10-13 (Grades 9-12) at the British School of Bahrain. Since February 2020, he has helped steer 520 GCSE and A-level students through remote and blended learning, and coordinated CPD and sharing of best practice amongst the teaching staff.
